How is everybody…
Alam nyo, maintaining a blog like this is not a joke. Because you need a lot of imagination to come up with write ups like what I have published so far. Of course, I can invent stories, I can even just shell out a joke, I can write anything under the sun as long as it makes sense. Kung hindi, no one in his clear mind would ever read a nonsense blog. No one!. In my case, I have turned myself into a writer, while I can say that I am better off as a dancer. But, writing had also been a passion, though it dawned on me a bit late, and only when I joined an International Club – Toastmasters International – which aim is to improve a person’s communication and leadership skills. It started way back in 1984, when I joined the Burlanders Toastmasters club, and I became a Charter Member of Toastmasters International. It was during that time I discovered that I possess a talent for writing speeches. And in fact, in 1984 I won the prepared speech contest and represented the National Capital Region in the National Public Speaking Championship held in Manila. My stint in Toastmasters was cut off when I arrived in Spain. And I only discovered the existence of the club last year 2010. I joined it – Madrid Toastmasters, and in April this year, I represented my club to the Area Speech contest, where I won second place. It wasn`t bad for a comeback. What is my point in writing all this, you might even say “non-sense” stuff. The point is, everyone of us possess a talent – undiscovered talent – which is concealed within our deeper consciousness that we fail to explore. If those persons who call themselves “failures” would only seek beyond their consciousness and ask it what they`ve got, I think every single individual will just discover for him/herself, that “hidden talent” which could lead the person to success in the future. Its revelation may come a “bit late” but, it is never too late to achieve success, no matter how late it had manifested. Let me end my article today with a short quotation:
‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond imagination. It is our light more than our darkness which scares us. We ask ourselves – who are we to be brilliant, beautiful, talented, and fabulous. But honestly, who are you to not be so?
You are a child of God, small games do not work in this world. For those around us to feel peace, it is not example to make ourselves small. We were born to express the glory of god that lives in us. It is not in some of us, it is in all of us. While we allow our light to shine, we unconsciously give permission for others to do the same. When we liberate ourselves from our own fears, simply our presence may liberate others.’

I wonder why this blog goes into my spam. It’s a good thing that I don’t trash my spam folder whenever it has something in there, otherwise, your very interesting and useful blog will go into waste. Keep writing ’cause I don’t only enjoy it but, I also learn much from it. Muchas gracias, mi hermano carino!!
